A 1-hour Sensory Non-Fiction Event for KS2

Pull on your backpack and lace up your boots - we're off on an adventure!

Step into the secret world of plants in The Green Planet, and then experience what it looks, feels, tastes, smells and sounds like in

one of the world's most extreme places - Mount Everest, from my book How Does Chocolate Taste on Everest?

There'll be plenty of opportunities to dress up and make some noise, leaving you inspired by nature, and hopeful for the future of our planet.

Adventures Around
our Wild Planet

How does it work?

This is a fully interactive, hands-on event that has been performed at festivals and schools around the country. It's loud, the children get to dress-up and we will laugh a lot! For that reason, there are a few set-up requirements for it to work: we need a big(ish) space for 5 children to safely move around in, a big screen to see the visuals, and big sound - we need to be able to hear sound effects for it to work. Ideally, it's the sort of event that works well for assemblies or in larger classrooms with an interactive whiteboard.

If you can accommodate that, then this event is for you!
