Why not book me for a 1-hour, in-person event

for children aged 7+ (KS1 & KS2)?

Pull on your backpack and lace up your boots – we’re off on an adventure around our blue and green planet! Step into the secret world of plants in The Green Planet, then experience what it looks, feels, tastes, smells and sounds like in one of the world’s most extreme places – Mount Everest! Along the way you’ll find out about changes happening to our Wonderful World and meet real life superheroes – I like to call them Earth Shakers – who are helping to save it. Plus, you’ll discover handy tips on how small changes you make at home can, make a BIG difference to the planet!

I can do whole school assemblies, or classroom workshops.

There will be LOTS of audience interaction, and hopefully, LOTS of laughter!

I  talk a bit about becoming an author, read a bit from the The Green Planet and How Does Chocolate Taste on Everest? and I get kids up on their feet experiencing what it's like to be an explorer. We chat about what's happening to the planet, hear some real life stories of people protecting it (from my book What a Wonderful World), and come up with ideas for how we can all help at home. At the end of all that, I need a cup of tea and a lie down, but first I'll do my best to answer all the questions! Because of the hands-on immersive experience in this event, it works best with us all in the room together. If however, you'd like to discuss how a virtual event could work in your school, please get in touch.
